If you are booting WipeDrive on a machine that does support UEFI and Legacy mode it might give an error like this:

error: net/drivers/efi/efinet.c:85:coulnd't send network packet.

error: loader/i386/efi/linux.c:206:you need to load the kernel first.

Press any key to continue...

Above snip is from HP ElitePad 1000

Set the machine to boot from legacy mode, reboot the machine and it should work.

You can find this either under the Boot settings or Security settings. UEFI mode is also called Secure boot.
